Divine Descent

This collection draws inspiration from the Greek myth of Persephone. I aimed to have this collection of evening wear reflect her journey from princess of spring to Queen of the Underworld. The beginning of the collection features pale shades of pink and yellow, floral prints, and floral appliques. The latter half features darker shades of red and purple, along with beading that evokes pomegranates, as well as corsetry, all of which allude to Persephone's capture in the Underworld.
