the Swan Maiden

This collection draws inspiration from the enchanting Swan Maiden myth, where a young girl loses her feathered cloak to a hunter. Stripped of her ability to transform into a swan, she ultimately marries her captor. Yet, she regains her cloak and soars away to freedom. This collection aims to encapsulate her journey, expressed through elegant evening wear and the last two bridal looks. Feathers are all throughout the collection, but the black ones represent her capture and forced marriage. But, by the end of the collection they have transformed into wings that she can fly away upon.
